Hogan IDS Developer

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced Hogan IDS Developer to manage and support critical Hogan applications including Deposits (DDA & TDA), RPM, CIS, Umbrella, PAS, ODS, and CAMS. This role is fully remote, offering the opportunity to collaborate with development teams on Hogan system enhancements, ensuring smooth operations and efficient troubleshooting across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee Hogan Applications: Manage and maintain Hogan applications such as DDA, TDA, RPM, CIS, PAS, Umbrella, ODS, and CAMS, ensuring consistent and efficient system performance.
• System Upgrades & Releases: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute new releases, upgrades, and system conversions while ensuring smooth integration with minimal operational disruptions.
• Problem Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within Hogan applications and mainframe environments, focusing on both online and batch processes to ensure system stability and performance.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support to business analysts, assisting in resolving technical issues related to Hogan applications.
• Documentation & Reporting: Create comprehensive technical documentation for all stages of software design, development, testing, and implementation.
• Development & Testing: Responsible for JCL programming, testing, and monitoring system conversions, ensuring the verification of data integrity throughout the process.
Desired Skills & Experience:
• Extensive Knowledge of Hogan Applications: Strong experience with Hogan modules including DDA, TDA, RPM, CIS, Umbrella, PAS, ODS, and CAMS.
• System Conversion Expertise: Hands-on experience with Hogan process dictionary components (PCDs), including system conversions and the implementation of new Hogan releases.
• Mainframe Programming: Expertise in COBOL II, CICS/VSAM, IMS/DB2, JCL, Easytrieve, and source management tools like Endeavor or Changeman.
• Technical Architecture: Ability to design, develop, test, and document complex software applications, contributing to the broader technical architecture and solutions.
• SDLC & Development Methodologies: Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, including experience in designing and developing software solutions aligned with industry best practices.
• Hogan Troubleshooting: Strong ability to troubleshoot issues within Hogan core banking applications, including PEM, CDMF, and Hogan Abend processes for both online and batch environments.
